libfastahack0 software package provides library for indexing and sequence extraction from FASTA files (lib), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libfastahack0
libfastahack0 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libfastahack0 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libfastahack0 *
You will get with libfastahack0 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
